Queen Rania Attends Royal Health Awareness Society Board of Trustees Meeting

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah attended Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) Board of Trustees meeting at the society’s headquarters in Amman Today.

Vice Chairman, Dr. Rami Farraj, gave welcoming remarks which were followed by a presentation by RHAS Director, Mrs. Enaam Barrishi about Society’s achievements and future plans.

Queen Rania Attends Launch of Jordan’s Children Report

The National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) in coordination with UNICEF and other governmental bodies have drafted the 4th and 5th Country Children’s report.

Queen Rania Visits Ain Al Basha Health Center

The visit marks the launch of the Healthy Community Clinic Project, the first of its kind in Jordan in terms of the kind of services offered.

Queen Rania Honors 77 Schools for Receiving National School Health Standards Accreditation

Queen Rania Calls for Setting Quality Control Criteria for Health Programs

(Jordan Times - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania asked the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) to coordinate its efforts with concerned institutions, define its responsibilities and set criteria for quality control.

The Queen, who chairs the RHAS board of trustees, stressed the need to apply these standards to society’s programmes, especially school health and nutrition programmes.

Queen Rania Accepts Role of Honorary President of the Jordan Society for the Care of Diabetes

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah has accepted to become Honorary President of the Jordanian Society for the Care of Diabetes, the Kingdom's sole society aiming to combat the disease, and to provide care and financial assistance to its victims.

Queen Rania recently met with members of the Society, during which the President Dr. Mohammad Al Zahiri, invited the Queen to become the Honorary President of the Society.

During the meeting, the goals and mission of the Society were outlined, as well as the status of diabetes in the Kingdom.
