Queen Rania Checks on Diabetes Awareness Program in Naour During Second Day of Ramadan

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah made a visit to the Naour Health Center in Amman today to check up on the Global Micro-Clinic Program (GMCP) for diabetes awareness. The program, designed by the Global Micro-Clinic Organization, is being implemented across the kingdom by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

Queen Rania Visits First Boys' School in Kingdom to Receive Gold Accredication in Healthy School Accreditation Program

(Office of Her Majesty– Press Department- Madaba) In line with her efforts to create a healthy learning environment in public schools in Jordan, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited today Al Ma’mounieh Secondary School for Boys in Madaba governorate, the first boy's school in the Kingdom to receive the gold accreditation in the Healthy School Accreditation Program implemented by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS).

Queen Rania Visits Ain Al Basha Health Center

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Ain Al Basha Health Center today where she checked up on the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) programs in the center. The visit marks the launch of the Healthy Community Clinic Project, the first of its kind in Jordan in terms of the kind of services offered.

Queen Rania Honors 77 Schools for Receiving National School Health Standards Accreditation

(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania honored today a group of schools that received accreditation for the years 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 by the National School Health Standards program which is run by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) in partnership with the ministries of Health and Education.

Queen Rania Calls for Setting Quality Control Criteria for Health Programs

(Jordan Times - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania asked the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) to coordinate its efforts with concerned institutions, define its responsibilities and set criteria for quality control.

The Queen, who chairs the RHAS board of trustees, stressed the need to apply these standards to society’s programmes, especially school health and nutrition programmes.

Queen Rania Joins Jordanians in KAFA Awareness March

(Jordan Times, Press Department - Amman) Despite the rain and the chilly weather witnessed on Friday morning, thousands of Jordanians participated in a march to raise awareness on road accidents, calling on motorists and pedestrians to heed traffic rules.

Her Majesty Queen Rania participated in the march, organised by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) as part of its recently launched campaign entitled KAFA, or “enough”.

Queen Rania Honors "Healthy Schools"

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Queen Rania honored several schools that have achieved a “healthy school” rating under the Healthy Schools Accreditation Program designed by the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS). Her Majesty gave out certificates to the 49 honored schools, at a special ceremony held at the Madaba Secondary School for Girls.
