Queen Rania Launches Madrasati Phase V in Irbid

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah launched Phase V of the Madrasati initiative today, which will cover a hundred of the most disadvantaged schools in the governorate of Irbid. During the launch ceremony, which took place at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Her Majesty focused on the importance of education, its outcomes, and the caliber of skills it instills in its graduates.

Queen Rania Visits Ain Al Basha Health Center

Queen Rania Joins World Leaders to Launch 1GOAL Campaign in an Event That Spans Six Locations Worldwide

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- London) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, on Tuesday, joined forces with global leaders, footballers, and FIFA President Sepp Blatter in the global launch of the 1Goal education campaign, which included live satellite link-ups from six different countries.

The FIFA-backed 1Goal campaign, which seeks to give 75 million children a fair chance in life by recruiting tens of millions of supporters through a mass sign up campaign in the run up to the 2010 World Cup, calls on global leaders to stand up to their education pledges.

Queen Rania Launches Madrasati Palestine Women's Network

(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah launched, today, the Madrasati Palestine Women's Network, a group of women from the Arab World, who will, individually or collectively, organize functions and charity events to raise funds and help further Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s initiative, Madrasati Palestine.

In an address, during a lunch held for members of the network at Basman Palace, Queen Rania expressed her thanks to the women for their efforts to ensure quality education for Jerusalem’s children.

Queen Rania Launches Fourth Phase of Madrasati Initiative

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Al Mafraq) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited three schools in Al Mafraq Governorate today, launching the fourth phase of the Queen’s Madrasati Initiative. The latest expansion phase will cover 93 schools in the governorate.

Queen Rania Attends the Launch of “Jordan Now”

Queen Rania Launches the Family Counseling Campaign

Queen Rania Launches "The State of the World's Children 2003" UNICEF Report

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah launched "The State of the World's Children 2003" UNICEF Report that calls for greater participation of children in decisions affecting their lives.

The launching of the UNICEF report is part of Queen Rania's efforts in supporting programs that contribute to improving the lives of children and youth in Jordan and internationally.

As member of UNICEF's Global Leadership Initiative, Queen Rania had stressed the importance of global commitment towards improving the lives of children.
