The meeting, which was held at the NCFA headquarters, tackled the Council’s expansion plans and planned projects for the upcoming year.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah attended today a discussion around the launch of the National Frame for Child Labor in Jordan. The discussion, which took place at the King Hussein Club in Amman, included presentations by Mrs. Reem Abu Hassan, Secretary General of the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) on child labor in Jordan and Mr. Waleed Tarawneh, Country Director of the Cooperative Housing Foundation (CHF) on the Child Labor Program, its goals, results and future plans.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah attended today part of a workshop to review the “National Plan of Action for Children (NPAC) 2004–2013” evaluation outcomes ahead of the launch of a new action plan next year. The plan is part of the National Council on Family Affairs (NCFA)’s work on child welfare in Jordan.

AMMAN (JT) - His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday underlined his full support for the goals and programmes implemented by the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) to ensure a better life for Jordanian families, according to a Royal Court statement.
The King stressed keenness to enhance the work of institutions concerned with family affairs and improve services provided to families.

(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Aiming to raise awareness about the importance of family counseling in Jordan, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah launched, today, the Family Counseling Campaign. Organized by the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA), and funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the campaign includes a nationwide media campaign as well as training programs in the field of counseling.

(Rana Husseini, Jordan Times – Amman) – Family protection experts called on the concerned authorities to exert more efforts to ensure greater protection for children from all forms of abuse and violence.
The call for a national action plan for family protection was made during a one-day event organised by the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and attended by Her Majesty Queen Rania.

(Jordan Times, Hana Namrouqa - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania, president of the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA), on Monday took part in the launch of the national information system for family affairs and two guidebooks on local family-related regulations and research.
The NCFA, in cooperation with several government agencies and civil society institutions concerned with family issues, prepared the national information system for family affairs, a guidebook on family regulations and another on family studies and research.
