(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to The Point Community Development Center on Tuesday, a non-profit facility in the Bronx, New York, dedicated to the economic and cultural development of youth.
Queen Rania, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Princess Aisha and Princess Zein, began her visit with a meeting with senior staff members of The Point, and one if its main backers, Variety, a principal childrenÕs charity organization in New York.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah returned to Amman Tuesday following a two-day trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which she met with Iran's First Lady, as well as other senior female Iranian officials working in various fields ranging from environment to family care.
The Queen and the accompanying delegation, which included Her Royal Highness Princess Alia Al Hussein, Minister of Social Development Mrs. Tamam Al Ghoul, and Senator Subhia Ma'ani, were warmly received by the Iranian officials and members of parliament.

Youth are the voice for change, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah said Wednesday, stressing that Jordanian youth can significantly contribute to the building of a better future of their country through participation in dialogue and exchange of ideas.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the four-day UNICEF Regional Youth Forum, Queen Rania also said Palestinian youth share the same aspirations and ambitions of youth across the world and will to chart a better future for themselves and their people, despite the difficult conditions they are currently enduring.

In an expression of support by Jordanian school children for their Palestinian counterparts in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, over 1000 students joined Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah on Monday at Al Quds School for Girls in Jabal Al Nuzha, to launch the National Campaign in Support of the Families of the Victims of the Aqsa Intifada.

Research into the determinants of cancer occurrences in Jordan is of primary importance and should serve as one of the main focuses of institutions dealing with this disease so as to increase the chances of early detection, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah said Tuesday.
In a meeting with executive members of the Jordan Cancer Society, whose honorary president is Queen Rania, Her Majesty also emphasized the importance of raising awareness in the Kingdom about existing methods for early detection of the deadly disease.
