Wolf Blitzer: Your Majesty, how worried are you that there could be a war involving Iran sooner rather than later?

Queen Rania: Well, obviously, a war is always something to worry about. And, as you said, our region is already riddled with so much conflict that another war would definitely not be something that we would welcome.

When it comes to the issue of the nuclear program, it's important for Iran to abide by international regulations and to remain open to inspection by international regulatory bodies. And clarity and transparency are what are is important here.

Queen Rania Ends Visit to Iran

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah returned to Amman Tuesday following a two-day trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which she met with Iran's First Lady, as well as other senior female Iranian officials working in various fields ranging from environment to family care.

The Queen and the accompanying delegation, which included Her Royal Highness Princess Alia Al Hussein, Minister of Social Development Mrs. Tamam Al Ghoul, and Senator Subhia Ma'ani, were warmly received by the Iranian officials and members of parliament.

Queen Rania Delivers Fifth Jordanian Planeload of Humanitarian Aid to Bam and Calls for Providing Long-term Assistance to Survivors

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Bam) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah visited the Iranian city of Bam taking a first hand look at the devastation of the ancient city which was nearly flattened as a result of the December 26 earthquake, claiming the lives of at least 30,000 people and leaving over 35,000 injured.

A C-130 Jordanian military plane, accompanied Queen Rania, carrying further relief including medical supplies, tents, blankets and heaters for thousands of people left homeless in the freezing temperatures.
