(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Around 30 students from different parts of the Kingdom were overwhelmed to find that their volunteer teacher for the day was Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah.
Teaching a class of ninth graders, Queen Rania highlighted to students of an INJAZ class qualities of a good leader, most importantly the significance of utilizing these skills to effect positive change and development in society.

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Kuwait) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, co-chair of the Arab Open University (AOU) Board of Trustees, underlined the important role of the university in promoting quality education in the Arab world.
On a one-day working visit to Kuwait, Queen Rania chaired the second meeting of the AOU’s Board of Trustees, with the participation of Her Highness Sheikha Majida Al-Jaber Al Sabbah, His Highness Prince Turki Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, Kuwaiti Minister of Higher Education Dr. Rashid Al-Hamad and AOU President Dr. Munther Salah.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Bam) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah visited the Iranian city of Bam taking a first hand look at the devastation of the ancient city which was nearly flattened as a result of the December 26 earthquake, claiming the lives of at least 30,000 people and leaving over 35,000 injured.
A C-130 Jordanian military plane, accompanied Queen Rania, carrying further relief including medical supplies, tents, blankets and heaters for thousands of people left homeless in the freezing temperatures.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah received representatives from the Emirates World Heart Organization "Zayed Charity Mission" who are currently in Jordan to conduct 30 free open heart surgeries to the underprivileged.
Members of the UAE medical team, presented Queen Rania with a Commemorative Shield for her role, support and contribution to humanitarian causes.
The mission, composed of 16 doctors from the UAE, Canada, the US, South Africa, Holland, Egypt and France is hosted by the Jordanian Ministry of Health.
