Queen Rania Attends Global Thinkers Forum (GTF) Discussion Panel

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- AMMAN) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah attended a panel on “the new MENA societies”, as part of the Global Thinkers Forum 2012 (GTF), held under Her Majesty’s Patronage over 2 days in Amman this week. The panel, which followed the official opening of the forum earlier in the morning, focused on Middle East and North Africa region women, the problems and challenges they face, and their potential.

Queen Rania joins 20 INJAZ students in an interactive leadership session conducted by a private sector volunteer at the University of Jordan

True leadership entails empowerment of people and decentralization of responsibilities so that development initiatives can be sustained on the long run, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah told 20 INJAZ students during a leadership session conducted by a private sector volunteer at the University of Jordan.

Queen Rania Teaches INJAZ Class

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Around 30 students from different parts of the Kingdom were overwhelmed to find that their volunteer teacher for the day was Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah.

Teaching a class of ninth graders, Queen Rania highlighted to students of an INJAZ class qualities of a good leader, most importantly the significance of utilizing these skills to effect positive change and development in society.

Queen Rania Meets with Leadership Program Youth

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with several groups of participants in the Youth Leadership Program at The Queen Rania Family and Child Center (QRFCC). The Youth Leadership Program “Towards an Empowered Generation” is one of several programs offered by the center, which is the brain child of the Jordan River Foundation (JRF), founded by Her Majesty.

Queen Rania Featured on CNN List of Inspirational Leaders

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – Amman) CNN International’s feature program, ‘The Spirit of…Leadership’ has shortlisted Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah on a viewer poll of some of the world’s most inspiring leaders of 2008. The program is asking its viewers to vote for their most inspirational leader before December 3.
