(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- New York) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with Cheryl Faye, Head of the UNGEI Secretariat and Maria Calivis, UNICEF outgoing Chief of Staff to Tony Lake and incoming Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, to discuss the latest UNGEI programmes and progress in girls’ education worldwide.
 

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with several groups of participants in the Youth Leadership Program at The Queen Rania Family and Child Center (QRFCC). The Youth Leadership Program “Towards an Empowered Generation” is one of several programs offered by the center, which is the brain child of the Jordan River Foundation (JRF), founded by Her Majesty.
