Queen Rania Honors Madrasati Volunteers

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah joined Madrasati Initiative in honoring their volunteers in Amman today. Her Majesty heard from the volunteers about their experiences in working with Madrasati to help improve the educational environment in their local schools and implement an array of extracurricular activities for their students.

Queen Rania Drops by INJAZ Entrepreneurship Course at the German Jordanian University

The INJAZ Company Program, conducted for university students, focuses on the establishment and the operation of student led companies.

Queen Rania Visits Award-winning Rmeil Secondary School for Girls in Al Jizah and Commends Volunteers’ Work

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department- Amman) – For their spirit of community, cooperation and volunteerism, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to Rmeil Secondary School for girls in Al Jizah, today. The school, which won the Healthy School Gold Award during the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) Ceremony earlier this month, is a Madrasati initiative phase one school.

Queen Rania Attends Jordan Volunteers Forum

Attended by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and in the spirit of giving back to their communities and encouraging a culture of volunteerism, “Takaful” Jordan Volunteers held their first Forum at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman today.

The Forum introduced the audience to the volunteers, their work, achievements, and the challenges they face through presentations and discussions throughout the day.

Queen Rania Met Today with a Volunteer Group Involved in a Ramadan-related Initiative

(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania met today a group of volunteers running a Ramadan initiative whereby they distribute water and dates along the roads at sunset to people on their way home.

During the meeting, the volunteers briefed Her Majesty about their initiative, which was first launched in 2006. The initiative goes under the name of “Tasbeeret May Wa Tamr”, translated as: A little bit of water and dates, and has since 2006 grown substantially.

Queen Rania Visits Homecare Center for the Elderly at Al Asirra Al Bayda's Society

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited today the elderly homecare center at Al Asirra Al Bayda’a Society and met with volunteers from the Jordan Volunteers group who provide psychological, social and medical services to the elderly.

In the meeting, which was also attended by board members of the society, Queen Rania listened to a brief about the services they provide, as well as the challenges they face.
