(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah joined beneficiaries, volunteers, workers, donors and partners of Al Aman Fund today in a celebration that marked the Fund’s fifth anniversary at Al Hussein Sports City, in Amman. The event highlighted the importance of the fund, its role, mandate and achievements to date.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah joined a group of children at the Mar Mansour Charitable Society for their Christmas celebration today. Queen Rania joined the children at the orphanage around the Christmas tree and saw a short performance prepared by the kids.

Her Majesty also met with the Society’s staff and some of its board members.

Mar Mansour Charitable Society (St. Vincent De Paul Society) was established in 1957. It provides services to children in need, including orphans, between the ages of 3-17.

August 31st, 2012 marked the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. Her Majesty, in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision for a modern Jordan, has been working towards improving access and quality of education in the Kingdom and around the world. Over the past years, she has also focused on empowering local communities across the Kingdom.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a visit to the SOS Amman Village today, where she celebrated mother’s day with children and their caregivers in the village. The Queen joined kindergarten students in making festive Mother’s Day greeting cards, and watched part of a their song and dance show.

Her Majesty also met with all caregivers and “mothers” from the village, and commended them on their honorable role in providing orphaned children with a family atmosphere, thus allowing them to prosper and reach their potential.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with groups of beneficiaries of the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) programs, representing the different initiatives that the Foundation has committed itself to throughout the last fifteen years.

As part of JRF’s 15 year anniversary celebrations, Her Majesty met with a group of 170 beneficiaries who were divided into three groups. Each group presented the Queen with their success stories and the effect that JRF programs have had on them.
