Queen Rania Fulfills a Group of Children's Wishes to Visit Madaba Mosaic Institute

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Madaba) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah joined a group of children from Aqaba during their visit to the Madaba Institute for Mosaic Art and Restoration (MIMAR) today. The visit comes after the children had expressed to Her Majesty a keen interest in mosaics when they met her during a visit to the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Community Development Center in Aqaba.

Queen Rania Attends the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts Second Graduation Ceremony in Aqaba

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Aqaba) – Under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, The Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts (RSICA) today celebrated the graduation of its second Masters of Fine Arts class of 22 young men and women from all over the Middle East, in a commencement ceremony held at the Movenpick Tala Bay Resort in Aqaba. In attendance were Her Majesty Queen Rania, the Board of Directors of RSICA, academic peers and friends and family of the graduates including many of the school’s supporters from the Aqaba community.

Queen Rania Launches Madrasati Phase III

(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah announced, Wednesday, the launch of Madrasti phase III, which will renovate an additional 100 schools in the areas of Aqaba, Tafileh, Ma'an, and Karak.

Queen Rania Fulfills Orphans' Wish

Upon arrival, Her Majesty was greeted by H.E. Commissioner Mohammad Saqer, Head of ASEZA and Ms. Valentina Qassisiyeh Director of JRF.

Queen Rania Returns to Aqaba

(Jordan Times – Aqaba) – Her Majesty Queen Rania on Friday toured several development projects currently being carried out in Aqaba’s old city and the surrounding area, expressing her support for diverse social, economic, educational and environment programmes in the port city.

The Aqaba neighbourhood known as the old city, which hosts a population of 7,000, is afflicted with a high unemployment rate and an abnormal rate of school drop-outs, according to a study carried out by the Jordan River Foundation (JRF).

Orphans Mark Queen Rania's Birthday with Unique Trip

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) A group of orphaned children enjoyed a unique experience on what was their first ever plane ride on board a Royal Jordanian aircraft heading from Amman to Aqaba.

The trip, which included children, aged 6 to 13 years, from the SOS Villages in Amman, along with their supervisors, came about after Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah had met them at one of the interactive activities at Queen Rania Park, a facility of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), in Um Nuwara, last month.
