And thank you, President Arnold, for that kind introduction. Your leadership has transformed AUC into a modern, vibrant university everyone in this room can be proud of. It makes me want to be a student here all over again!

It’s been a long time since I left AUC, but AUC has never left me. With every university I visit and student I meet, whether it’s at Harvard or Sorbonne, I remember my days in Cairo with fondness and pride. On occasion, I’ve even had AUC’s anthem pop into my head!

A Group of Arab Students Presents Queen Rania with a Message to the Youth of the World

Queen Rania Participates in WEF Sharm El-Sheikh

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Sharm El-Sheikh) At the closing ceremony of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah joined WEF Founder, Klaus Schwab, on Monday, in a one-on-one discussion, highlighting the need for a greater role for the private sector in socioeconomic development, a genuine integration of women, and the need for positive impact by Arab youth in global discourse. Her Majesty concluded by welcoming participants back to the WEF home base of the Dead Sea, Jordan for next year's forum.
 

Queen Rania Returns to Amman after 2-day Working Trip to Cairo

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah returned to Amman following a two-day working visit to Cairo, in which she met with Egypt's First Lady Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, as well as a number of Egyptian female officials and experts in the fields of child welfare and women's affairs.

The Queen's trip also included a visit to the Mubarak Public Library and a media and production facilities center, as well as a lunch hosted in honor of Her Majesty by Mrs. Mubarak.
