Queen Rania Pays Surprise Visits to 3 Public Schools

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania went on a surprise visit today to inspect 3 public schools in Amman. Her Majesty’s visit marks the second day of the school year. Her Majesty visited Um al Usoud Secondary School for girls, Dabouq Elementary School for boys, and Al Hudaibieh and Abu Al Milh Primary Co-ed.

Queen Rania Attends Usrat Al-Tadamun Al Ijtima’i Society Fundraising Lunch in Amman

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah attended today Usrat Al-Tadamun Al Ijtima’i Society fundraising lunch in Amman. The proceeds from the lunch will go towards the renovation of two public schools in Northern and Southern Ghor.

The lunch, which was also attended by Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal and Her Highness Princess Dina Mired, included a brief by Mrs. Amal Obeidat about the society, its mission and projects.

Queen Rania Pays a Surprise Visit to the Children's Museum

(Office of Her Majesty- Press Department- Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah paid a surprise visit, today, to the Children's Museum, a non-profit organization launched by Queen Rania, in 2007, to encourage and nurture lifelong learning in children and their families.

During her tour, Her Majesty met with students, from different public schools, who told her how these educational programs and interactive learning experiences inspired them and increased their knowledge throughout play.

This day was a long time coming. May 22, 2007: the doors of Jordan’s first children’s museum opened.
