Good evening and thank you, Barbara, for that kind introduction. I am excited to be here to celebrate the launch of Ben and Izzy - a magical feat of children’s animation which has united Arabs and Americans in our joint quest for mutual understanding. As you have seen, Ben and Izzy tells the story of two little boys who meet in Jordan at an archeological dig. From there, they embark on whirlwind adventures that take them back through history and expose the values that we share today.

Warm greetings to everyone from Jordan!  I wanted to wish you my very best as you launch your video conference.  I know that sometimes, young people feel their opinions are not taken seriously.  I want you to know that what you think matters… and your voices are being heard – not only by one another, by your government, and by the media… but by international organizations and countries around the world.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Istanbul) Common global humanity, dangerous stereotypes and the need for greater understanding through human-to-human interaction were the focal areas of discussion between Queen Rania and a group of young Turkish men and women during a televised roundtable in Istanbul last week, entitled "Youth as a Bridge – Setting the Agenda for Dialogue".
