(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department-Amman) In recognition of the leading educational role played by the University of Jordan and its academics as the country’s first higher education institution, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today with a group of female professors, lecturers and teachers from various faculties at the university.

(Jordan Times – Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania joined students and teaching staff at the University of Jordan (UJ), at the launch of a new master’s programme in human rights and humanitarian development.

The launch marked the Kingdom’s celebrations of Human Rights Day observed worldwide yesterday.
