Deprive children of quality education, and you deprive them of the opportunities that can help them break out of the cycle of poverty. A cycle that traps people in disadvantage…and makes them more vulnerable to disease. A cycle that puts girls at risk of violence. And slows the growth of our global economy.

I am Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan. And I believe in the power of education to create lasting change. Goal number 4 is to give every child quality education…and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
