Queen Rania Hosts Iftar for Women in Aqaba

(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Aqaba) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted an Iftar banquet in Aqaba on Thursday, bringing together women from across the governorate who have distinguished themselves in a variety of fields.

After breaking the fast, Queen Rania wished the guests a blessed Ramadan, and thanked them for their invaluable contributions to their communities, expressing her pride in their accomplishments.

“Women play a very important role in the workforce and as part of the labor market, as well as a pivotal role within the family,” she said, commending Jordanian mothers for serving as “the beating hearts” of their homes. She also extended her best wishes to the women of Jordan on the upcoming occasion of International Women’s Day.

Held at the Prince Rashid Club, the Iftar was also attended by Aqaba Governor Khaled Hajjaj, General Manager of Aqaba Company for Ports Operation and Management (ACPOM) Mahmoud Khleifat, and the club’s director Muhannad Al Naser.
