Queen Rania Pays Condolences in Abu Dhabi on Passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan
(Office of Her Majesty – Press Department – Abu Dhabi) - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited Abu Dhabi on Monday to pay her respects following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the late President of the United Arab Emirates. Her Majesty was accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Princess Alia bint Al Hussein and Princess Aisha bint Al Hussein, and Her Highness Princess Zeina Al Feisal.
During the brief visit, Queen Rania extended her condolences to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and Mother of the Nation. She also offered her condolences to the late Sheikh’s spouse, Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Suhail Al Mazrouei.
