His Royal Highness Prince Hashem Bin Al Abdullah II is Born
(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) The Royal Hashemite Court announced that Her Majesty Queen Rania gave birth on Sunday evening to a baby boy, HRH Prince Hashem.
The King and Queen, who have three other children, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hussein, 10, Princess Iman, 8, and Princess Salma, 4, called on citizens to donate to the “Al Aman” Campaign for the Future of Orphans, which was launched by Queen Rania in Ramadan 2003, instead of posting congratulatory ads in newspapers or sending flowers.
On the occasion, His Majesty King Abdullah directed that assistance and food items be distributed to disadvantaged families around the Kingdom. Starting today, the Royal Court said, thousands of families in the governorates, badia areas and refugee camps will receive the aid, enough to meet their needs for six months.
