(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited today two Madrasati schools in Al Ghor Al Safi in southern Jordan to inspect their progress after completion of contraction and refurbishment work. The Ghor Al Safi residents lined the streets in celebration, welcoming Her Majesty to their schools.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) With a view to strengthening coordination among Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s ten non-profit organizations, the affiliations met Wednesday at the International Academy Amman (IAA) to focus on setting strategic goals for the future.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) The success of Madrasati’s educational programs could easily be seen and heard during today’s gathering at the Um Al Manee’ School in Sweileh, when Queen Rania listened as students highlighted the benefits brought about by the initiative.

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department – New York) - Sharing a stage with some of the most recognized figures in development, including former US President Bill Clinton and his Vice President Al Gore, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, and rock star Bono, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah took the opportunity to shed light on the value of public-private partnerships and investments in education, at the fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) in New York, Wednesday. 

(Jordan Times - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania launched the initiative three months ago, which seeks to make education a social responsibility by partnering the public and private sectors for the restoration of 500 schools in desperate need of basic infrastructure and repair.

Under the initiative, final touches are being made at schools in eight governorates after an overall renovation of the buildings and various facilities.

Woke up this morning, and the first thing I did was phone my son Hashem to see how he was feeling. He was napping, and I didn't get much out of him, but it was still comforting to hear his sleepy little voice. I can't wait to give him a big cuddle.
