Queen Rania Inspects Madrasati Progress in Southern Jordan

(Office of Her Majesty, Press Department- Amman) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited today two Madrasati schools in Al Ghor Al Safi in southern Jordan to inspect their progress after completion of contraction and refurbishment work. The Ghor Al Safi residents lined the streets in celebration, welcoming Her Majesty to their schools.

Students Rejoice in New Learning Environment

(Jordan Times - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania launched the initiative three months ago, which seeks to make education a social responsibility by partnering the public and private sectors for the restoration of 500 schools in desperate need of basic infrastructure and repair.

Under the initiative, final touches are being made at schools in eight governorates after an overall renovation of the buildings and various facilities.

Woke up this morning, and the first thing I did was phone my son Hashem to see how he was feeling. He was napping, and I didn't get much out of him, but it was still comforting to hear his sleepy little voice. I can't wait to give him a big cuddle.
